How we can collaborate in Erasmus+ projects

We are happy to host and partner in Erasmus+ projects, aligned with our values – inclusive events that support connection, regeneration, health, personal development, mindfulness, celebration of life, and relaxation.

As a hosting partner
- Hosting youth exchanges, training courses, job shadowing, mobility projects and more
- Offering accommodation, organic food, learning spaces, nature, and co-living experience
- Warm welcome + logistics help

As a co-creating partner, hosting one or several activities

❗At the moment, we are interested in hosting Erasmus+ projects and we do not practice participation-only collaboration due to our priorities and capacities.

Our spaces & facilities

Workshop rooms of various size:

light, spacious, with chairs or floor cushions, whiteboards or flipcharts and a TV-screen.

Auditorium:

an indoor amphitheater with 90 seats, a big screen and a good sound system.

Accommodation:

single and double bedrooms with private bathrooms and a nice view, own campervans or tents (other accommodation options also possible upon request.

Outdoor areas:

forest, coastline, fire circle, garden, lawns.

Food:

3 organic macrobiotic meals daily (snacks and vegan options upon request, self-preparation not possible).

Special facilities (upon request):

gym, fitness room, art room, therapy room, meeting room, coworking.

Folklore for Future

Bridging cultures and communities

Avnø Højskole together with Nausika Educational Foundation and Hästekasen Gård – Bohuslän has been exploring folklore as a tool for non-formal education, bridging Scandinavian & Slavic traditions and looking for inspiration to reimagine sustainable futures.

We aimed at empowering eco-communities, rural retreats and ecovillages, rediscovering folklore as inspiration for non-formal education tools and above all bridging:

Scandinavian & Slavic cultures,

rural & urban,

culture & nature,

past & future!

We were exploring folklore as the predecessor of non-formal education (socializing, learning soft skills, community building) and the narrative for handling future challenges (sustainability, resilience, solidarity, identity, belonging).
