OUR STRATEGY

We are creating an ecovillage with three components:
1) a co-housing community
2) an adult learning center (a “højskole”)
3) regenerative services & projects

In our daily life we use best practices:
sociocratic governance, compassionate communication (NVC), permaculture design, macrobiotic cooking, AIMA tools for personal development etc.

What’s unique about us?

1. Our project combines 3 aspects: we are a cohousing community, we are an adult learning center (a "højskole"), and we also aim to have regenerative businesses here.
2. We are ambitious! We are just 5 years old, but we have a huge debt-free property, we run 15-20 courses yearly in our learning center, we do tremendous inner and outer work out of inspiration and not out of fear, and we welcome 200-300 people from all around the world every year.
3. We are located in a nature protection zone right next to the sea.
4. Most of our core members went through various kinds of ecovillage-related education (EDE, permaculture, sociocracy, NVC, coaching, economy), so our actions are based on rich experience and knowledge.
5. We are creating our ecovillage as a place that gives support and practical tools for ourselves and our visitors to deeply heal, easily connect with who we truly are, and live mindful, healthy, and joyful lives.
6. We love creating a significant positive impact, and we work with many international partners and networks (ecovillage, permaculture, Erasmus+, ESC, macrobiotic networks etc).
7. We still have lots of space for new ambitions and new core members!
